I've spent 25 years creating imagery, including work for Apple and Dyson, alongside independent documentary filmmaking. I direct, film and edit, finding the moments that bring someone's personality to the screen.

My career began at the BBC in post production. For over 20 years, I've worked as a psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, author and public speaker. Through thoughtful questions and deep listening, I help people share the experiences that reveal who they are.

QUESTIONS

A few things you might be wondering.

What if I’m nervous about being filmed?

That’s completely understandable. We start with a conversation before filming, so you know us and what to expect. On the day, we guide you gently, with time to settle in and take breaks. There’s no script to learn or performance to prepare.

Can I arrange a film for someone else?

Yes. A Human Story can be a lovely gift for a parent, partner or someone special. We’ll talk through your idea, then involve the person being filmed so they feel comfortable and can help shape their film.

How long will the film be?

Our films are up to 20 minutes long. The length follows the person and their stories. We carefully shape each film to feel engaging and personal, with room for humour, reflection and the unexpected.

Where do you film?

Usually in your home, where you can feel comfortable and be yourself. We can also discuss another meaningful location. We’re based in Stroud and welcome enquiries from further afield, with travel arrangements agreed before booking.

Will our film be published online?

Your film is private for you and your family to keep and share as you choose. We would only use a film or an excerpt on our website or in our marketing with your separate permission.
